Artists of Morality – Episode 51 – Stress Management

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss how to manage stress in our day to day lives. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that dealing with stress poorly not only affects our own well-being, but it also affects our relationships with others. “Rule number one, don’t sweat the small stuff. Rule number two, it’s all small stuff”-Robert Eliot

Artists of Morality – Episode 50 – Unity

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we listen to a poem about the power of Unity by Kalie Brum. In a society that profits from our differences, there are many things that can separate us if we let them. We must embrace our diversity rather than fall victim to destruction. Sticking together gives us the strength to survive and enjoy life!

Artists of Morality – Episode 49 – Success

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss what it means to be successful. As a society the desire for success is often driven by what we don’t have but deeply want such as love, appreciation, recognition, material things, and the power to have influence. We think that achieving success will ease any unnamed discomfort we have when in reality the obsession with success often leads to more stress and a poor quality of life. According to Eckhart Tolle, true success is simple and takes place when the ends and the means of our life are both full of positive energy.

Artists of Morality – Episode 48 – Competition

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss the illusion of competition and why comparing ourselves to others holds us back from living our happiest life. We are all unique. Learning to appreciate our own individuality can help us feel grateful for what we have and appreciate where we’re going. Life is not a race, but a journey.

Artists of Morality – Episode 47 – Life

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss what it means to truly live. “Life is not easy for any of us. We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained. You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for his own improvement and, at the same time, share a general responsibility for all humanity.” – Marie Curie

Artists of Morality – Episode 46 – Pain Ends

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, I read an encouraging poem by Katy A. Brown titled “Pain Ends”. Her story inspires us to free ourselves from mental suffering so that we are able to live our best life ever. Although we can’t control everything that happens to us, we can control how we react.

Artists of Morality – Episode 45 – Youth Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss the importance of mental health awareness amongst the youth. Earlier this month I participated in North Beach Elementary’s annual Arts & Culture Day where I spoke with a group of 5th graders about the importance of valuing themselves. After processing what the kids had shared about their struggles with self-esteem and bullying, it was clear they needed more than just a one-time self-worth exercise. With the majority of entertainment promoting violence, depression, sex, materialism, and addiction, the well-being of this generation is at risk if their remains a lack of positive guidance and enrichment in the content they consume. With that being said, I am excited to announce that I’ve started a campaign to fund the production of a collaborative album and musical video series.

To learn more about this project, please visit the GoFundMe link here: https://www.gofundme.com/KnowYourWorthEdu. I would greatly appreciate any form of support such as a donation and/or sharing the campaign link amongst your friends and family. Thanks Tribe!

Artists of Morality – Episode 44 – Overthinking & Anxiety

Hey Tribe! On today’s episode of Artists of Morality, we discuss the struggle of overthinking and how it plays a major role in anxiety. “They say, “Look before you leap.” So look. But do not look for too long. Do not look into the void of uncertainty trying to predict each and every possible outcome, to evaluate every possible mistake, to prevent each possible failure. Look for the opportunity to leap, and leap faster than your fear can grab you. Leap before you talk yourself out of it, before you convince yourself to set up a temporary camp that turns into a permanent delay on your journey into your own heart.” ― Vironika Tugaleva
