Thanks for stopping by!
My goal at idratherberichnotfamous.com is to provide helpful tips and tools for those eager to earn their first 6 figures online. I cover topics like how to budget properly, how to become your own boss, how to live the laptop lifestyle, and how to easily create an investment portfolio. Everything written on this site is dedicated to help you manage your finances, as well as help you create a fulfilling career.
The information you see on this site is free to readers & subscribers, but represents a ton of hours of time and research for me. Because of this, I feel compensation is appropriate so I have agreements with some companies who pay me. I’ve worked really hard to make sure this process is not obtrusive to you, my lovely visitors.
Every once in a while, I accept advertising. Mostly I participate in affiliate programs. Both of them provide some income which allows me to devote my time and energy to the growth of idratherberichnotfamous.com and Worth It Radio.
I want you to know that you have my word, I will only promote products I either personally use or can without a doubt in my mind recommend without hesitation.
Integrity is crucial, and gaining and keeping the trust of you as a reader is extremely important for me.
What I do & don’t promote
I do my best to look at potential promoted products / services through the eyes of a customer. I ask myself if I would pay for it. After all, if I don’t think it’s worth paying for myself, I’d better have a really good reason to convince you to buy it.
- The majority of the products or services I promote I have paid for personally.
- Sometimes I promote products I have used personally without paying for, but still feel comfortable recommending via an affiliate link. Books are a good example. I often link to books on Amazon (mainly to read the reviews), in which some of the books were either gifted to me from friends, or I checked out at the local library.
- Very rarely I will promote a product I have not paid for but comes highly recommended by people I trust. I can’t think of an example as it happens so infrequently.
What is an affiliate link / referral link?
All throughout this site and the e-book The Ultimate Guide To Building Wealth Young, you will see references to my use of affiliate links or referral links. These references are called disclosures and are a requirement as put forth by the FTC here in the U.S.
They are there to inform you I have a relationship with a particular product or service and if you choose to purchase that product or service via my affiliate link, I will get a small commission. Of course, this is at no extra cost to you, but it does help keep my candle burning so I can keep bringing you awesome tips! Thank you kindly for your support in this way. I greatly appreciate it.
My Own Products / Services
Separate from my affiliate relationships, I sell 1 product and 3 services. The Ultimate Guide To Building Wealth Young is an ebook about managing ones personal finances, working as an independent contractor, and how to earn six figures by creating a blog. The 6 Figure Guide is an in-depth tailored program designed to help you become a wealthy independent contractor. Lastly, my Blog Designer is a service I provide to those who would like me to personally design their new website.
All three of these products were created by me and their profits come directly to me.
